Sullivan Upper School have reached their first ever Ulster Bank Schools Cup final. The Holywood school beat Grosvenor Grammar School , Belfast, by 13 runs and will now meet the winners of Tuesday’s (June 8) semi final between holders Foyle & Londonderry College and Methodist College, Belfast.The Sullivan Upper School team led by David Nicholl (front centre) which beat Grosvenor Grammar School by 13 runs to reach their first ever Ulster Bank Schools Cup final

Sullivan batted first in a 32-over match and with one ball left were all out for 115. Fourteen year old Mark Adair top scored with 40 but extras cost Grosvenor dearly with the second highest score of 26.

Grosvenor were always struggling to win the run chase and despite 33 from Alistair Shields they were dismissed in the 30th over for 102.
